I love capturing the sights that might go unnoticed around us, the beauty of shadows and lights. Whether the play of light on a city street or the shadows cast across a field, there is beauty all around us, waiting to be noticed. By capturing these moments on canvas, I hope to evoke a sense of tranquility to those who view my work.

As a child, drawing provided me with a respite, but it was under direction of my high school art teacher, who helped me put together the portfolio that got me accepted into studying Fine Art at the University of Massachusetts in Dartmouth.  I was later apprenticed as a draftsperson, which allowed me to spend my days with pencil in hand.   My journey as an artist was enhanced by Kathy Cooper, with instruction at her Westford, MA  atelier.  Recently, while under the tutelage of Todd Bonita, I have been able to express myself more deeply through my painting.  I will be forever grateful for the support and insight provided by Todd and Kathy.

Additionally, I have participated in various workshops led by Leah Lopez, Daniel Keyes, Sergio Roffo, Mary Byrom and Joseph McGurl, along with plein air workshops on Monhegan Island and Ballyvahaugn, County Clare, Ireland.

Art has a way of connecting people and sparking emotions that words sometimes cannot express. Each painting tells a story and I invite you to join me on my next chapter.
